Visegrad Film Forum 2018 is coming! Save the date!

7th Visegrad Film Forum will take place at the Film and TV Faculty in Bratislava from April 17 - 21, 2018. Participants will enjoy five amazing days full of screenings of student films, master classes with renowned experts, case studies of interesting film projects, discussions, and workshops.

During last years guests included Oscar winners Alan Starski (Pianist, Schindler´s List) and Christopher Newman (Godfather, Exorcist), Oscar nominees Christian Frei (War Photographer), Paco Delgado (Les Miserables, Danish Girl) and Christian Berger (The White Ribbon), as well as prize winners from Cannes and Sundance, Fabio Grassadonia (Salvo), Colin Arthur (NeverEnding Story, 2001: Space Odyssey) and Mads Brugger (Red Chappel), Ludovica Ferrario (The Young Pope, The Great Beauty) came to share their knowledge and experience.

During past 6 years VFF held unique practical workshops for young film producers (lecturer Jim Stark), sound mixers (lecturer Christopher Newman) or scriptwriters (lecturer Paul Cronin).

Participants could attend exceptional case studies of films like NeverEnding Story, Son of Saul, Ida, the Godfather, the Red Chapel, The Ambassador, War Photographer or Salvo. Our selection for student film screenings featured films from festivals like Berlinale (Rosso Papavero, Slovakia) or Cannes Film Festival (Fragments, Poland; Retriever, Czech Republic).
